Events in Meribel, summer and winter!

Méribel is the place to be for winter sport fans, starting with with the European Cup Giant Man, in January on the track of the Alpine World Championships of 2023. But Méribel is also a resort that promotes culture in the heart of winter, including, at the end of January, the Winter Film Festival.

In February, chamallow welcoming parties are organized to celebrate holidaymakers! Athletes can also compete at the Yooni Moon Trail, as well as at the Flèche du club des Sports.

In March, get on your bike for the MTB winter tour, in the middle of the snowy forests. Or put on your skis again to measure yourself at the legendary Albertville Olympic Games: the Iron Rock. You can also admire the most talented freestylers during the French mogul championship. And, in the evening, get back on the dance floor… thanks to the Soundclash Djs.

The U16 French Alpine Ski Championship, fiercely contested by young skiers, is held in April, as is the Olymp's challenge. In this last challenge, the riders make Sisyphe (but without rock) climbing and going up and down from Brides-les-Bains to Les Allues until exhaustion.

In June, shortly after the opening of the season, the Mountain bikes Summer Tour takes place.

In July, take part in «Zen altitude», a relaxing activity program in the heart of the world’s most beautiful landscapes. Admire the fireworks and let yourself be carried away by the popular ball organized for July 14. Also enjoy «Méribel in the sky», two weeks of activities around the sky: stargazing, paragliding show…

From mid-July to September, visual art is in the spotlight with the Mountain Art Weeks, which offers exhibitions of artists and activities for young and old.

In early August, don’t miss the famous Fanfoué Festival, which will introduce you to the customs, arts and gastronomy of the region. During the whole month of August are also organized sporting events: the Cyclo Climb Les Allues-Mottaret, the France Trail Championship, the Tour de l'Avenir, but also the Open Ball Trap contest.

Those who still have some energy in September will be able to compete in the Departmental Youth Moutain Bike Tournament.

Finally, don’t miss the opening of the winter resort in December, as well as the busy and warm programme of Christmas and New Year’s Eve celebrations. Book your ski holiday rental in Méribel now!
